Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness come first. Below is a quick guide to help you understand how we work, what we expect, and how we care for your best friend. Full policies (the legal stuff) are always available upon request or during your intake.

🏡 Where We Operate
We are a private, home-based pet care business. All services are by appointment only. For everyone’s safety:
  • Please do not arrive early or without notice
  • Stay in the drop-off/pick-up zone
  • Only adults (18+) may become clients, drop off or pick up pets

🐶 What You Can Expect
  • Personalized care in a cozy environment
  • A clean, safe space for play, rest, and grooming
  • Trained staff familiar with shy, large, and reactive pets
  • An emphasis on enrichment, patience, and positive handling
  • Freedom first focus - that means we try to skip kennels & crates

🛑 What We Ask of You
  • Disclose any known or suspected behavioral, medical, or mobility concerns
  • Keep emergency contacts up to date
  • Provide proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination
  • Let us know ASAP if you’re running late or need to cancel

💬 Communication
We love updates! You’ll receive messages about pick-up times, questions, or cute moments. Be sure we can reach you during your pet’s stay. We also use video and audio monitoring for safety.

📸 Photo & Video Use
We may snap adorable pics or videos during your pet’s visit for documentation or promotion. Don’t want your pet in marketing? Just tell us in writing.

💉 In Case of Emergency
  • If we can’t reach you or your emergency contact, we may transport your pet to the vet
  • You are responsible for emergency costs
  • If a life-threatening situation arises and you’re unreachable, we may authorize care or humane euthanasia based on veterinary advice (opt-out available)

🧼 Grooming Visits
  • Please pick up within 1–2 hours of notice
  • Late pickups past 7:00 PM incur a board fee
  • Severe matting may require shaving and extra charges
  • We don’t offer re-baths or re-trims for late pick-ups

🧾 Payments & Policies
  • Invoices are due at or before pick-up
  • Cancellations must follow our timelines:
    • Grooming: 48+ hrs notice to avoid fee cancellation fee
    • Boarding/Daycare: 21+ days notice to apply any paid balance as a credit, less your deposit 
  • No-shows and late cancellations may result in a fee or prepayment requirement for future visits

🧸 Belongings
Feel free to bring items from home, but we aren’t responsible for damage or loss. We recommend labeling everything.

🐕 Behavior Matters
We accept all types of personalities—from nervous pups to big goofballs. But safety comes first. If your pet poses a risk to staff, other pets, or themselves, we may:
  • Pause services
  • Suggest training or vet support
  • Decline future bookings

💡 Reminders
  • We’re legally required to report signs of abuse or neglect
  • Unclaimed pets after 15 days (without contact) may be considered abandoned under Washington law
  • You must keep a current card on file for services, fees, or emergencies and electing service authorizes charges to cards on file

Cancellation Policy at a Glance
We want booking to feel stress-free! Please wait to reserve until you’re sure the dates work for you. If you’re still deciding, we’re happy to keep an eye on availability and let you know if your preferred dates are starting to fill up.
  • Deposits
    A non-refundable deposit is required to book all appointments. If a reservation is canceled, the deposit is forfeited.
  • Boarding
    • Cancellations made more than 21 days in advance may be rescheduled without penalty or additional fees.
    • Cancellations made within 21 days of the start date require the full invoice to be paid.
  • Daycare & Grooming
    • Changes or cancellations must be made more than 48 hours in advance to avoid fees.
    • Within 48 hours, a $50 cancellation fee applies. Deposits are forfeited, and any prepaid balances may also be forfeited per invoice terms.
  • No-Call / No-Show
    • Failure to arrive without notice results in a $50 fee per incident and forfeiture of all payments made.
    • Repeated incidents may result in removal from the client list.
  • Late Payments & Unpaid Balances
    • Discounts are forfeited if payment is late.
    • Beginning 24 hours after the due date, a $40 late fee is added every 30 days until the balance is resolved.
    • We do not book any services for clients with an outstanding balance.
